just like you imagined

The other day, in one of my tutorials,
this group was doing a presentation on Barbie.
As an intro to their presentation,
they used a clip from YouTube,
where they found a small girl who they thought looked and acted a lot like Barbie.

So they played the clip.
It was some young girl, probably 6 years of age,
prancing about and dancing and looking pretty much like Barbie.

And then she said, into the mic, “Hi my name is JonBenet Ramsey, I love performing!”.
Yes.
No wonder she looked familiar.
She was the child-pageant star who was murdered, allegedly by her own parents.
And there the group was, giggling away about how cute she is(was).

maybe, perhaps, possibly, the comments left by YouTube users would’ve given it away?
“Why did God take away such a perfect angel from the world”
“RIP blessed child”

yessss.
How does one even ignore these comments?
Like, did they think its normal for such comments to be there?

did they ever see "may God keep you with amongst his angels" after a Andy Lau or Jay Chou video?
Wasn’t it the least bit odd?

so anyways,
they basically ended up showing what actually was a Tribute video to a dead girl.
High five brilliant people.
Welcome to my school.
one of the best in the world i am told.
the propaganda never ceases.

I was in a philosophy class and the lecturer made an interesting point.
In the Mahabharata (ancient Indian text, you ignoramus),
a wise man was asked:
“what is the most amazing thing about humans?”
and his reply was
“we are all going to die; but each of us thinks we are immortal.”

When one incorporates the fact that death is inevitable, and lives his life accordingly,
he is said to have a ‘meaningful’ and ‘authentic’ life.
Pretty interesting.

So you see, you can actually learn things from this glorious blog!
just dont expect too much from me.
typing that para on philosophy already gave me a migraine.

as you can see, I changed the layout of the blog.
Using my highly advanced knowledge of computers, combined with my super-powers (which I have yet to figure out),
I have gotten this sparse layout.
Good job arzish.

yeah that’s it for now.
i'll probably update more often, but with shorter posts.

much love to all those who matter.
im out.
